In this gorgeous retelling of an Inuit legend set in 2000 BCE, two young Inuit lovers in Igloolik, Kaujak and Sapa, are destined to be together. When Kaujak’s father dies, a man from a neighboring tribe marries Kaujak’s mother and forces both women to join his clan. In desperation, Kaujak and Sapa turn to a shaman to help them be together. What follows is a clash of demons and wonders amid breathtaking northern landscapes.
