“Drawn Concert” with musical duo Sunflowers and illustrator Maud Legrand
An afternoon for kids at the Canadian Cultural Centre

📚🎶✨On September 21 at 2.30 pm, the Canadian Cultural Centre is welcoming kids and the young at heart for a unique musical, artistic and poetic experience to discover English! 

The musicians of the Sunflowers duo introduce children to the English language in music, performing a melodious folk-pop repertoire! Their songs are all featured in the book-disc A Beautiful Day, Une belle journée pour découvrir l’anglais, by Canadian publisher La Montagne Secrète: an audio book that mixes texts, images and music.

On stage, the duo will perform with artist Maud Legrand, creating sparkling, colourful and poetic illustrations live.

A beautiful concert where children will discover English, humming catchy refrains!

The Sunflowers duo is composed of singer-songwriters Aaron and Julie Harris, who have been working for years to introduce children to English through music.
Illustrator Maud Legrand, a graduate of the Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg, has been publishing books for children for nearly 20 years.
