Les Muséales de Tourouvre

Les Muséales de Tourouvre, which is held at the Musée de l’Émigration Française au Canada and at the Musée des Commerces et des Marques, welcomes an exhibition dedicated to the members of the Canadian delegations to the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris last December.

The Salon, an institution with a long tradition, was founded in 1890, spurred on by great French artists such as Rodin and Puvis de Chavannes. The chosen Canadian artists are mainly figurative artists, some of whom have come to be inspired by life in Paris, others to discover landscapes, museums and French historical monuments exploring the theme of migration. The exhibition has been put together by Bénédicte Lecat of the Blue Morning association, which organizes many other artistic events. It features works by Lucie Chicoine, Ginette Beaulieu, Audrey Traini, Josée Gauthier, Humberto Pinochet, Luc Landreville, Johanne Martel, Lise Boilard, Raymonde Perron, Anne Drouin, Claire Fontaine, Diane Couet, Jacques Corbeil, Alain Dionne and Marc Fugère.

• June 1 to September 30 – Tuesday to Sunday, 11 p.m. to 6 p.m.
