Auguste Quartet

As part of the Jazzycolors festival, the Canadian Cultural Centre welcomes L’Auguste Quartet. This concert features Mario Allard (alto and soprano saxophone), Marie-Fatima Rudolf (piano and compositions), Alain Bédard (double bass) and Michel Lambert (drums). Playing only their original music, the group has performed in dozens of countries, including China, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, the USA, Italy, Hungary, Ireland, the UK, Belgium, Luxembourg, Estonia, Poland, Russia, Holland, Germany, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, France and Canada.

The Auguste Quartet is currently preparing the music for a new opus in the form of quantum “Sound Particles”, unquantifiable in time and space. This concert will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Effendi label.
