She made her debut at the Maison symphonique de Montréal (2021) and has performed at Carnegie Hall, St James’s Piccadilly (London) and the Festival de Lanaudière, among others. Winner of Third Prize at the Prix d’Europe Competition and the Canimex Grand Prix, she is a faculty member at Domaine Forget and Orford Musique. She completed an Artist Diploma at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London in 2025, where she is now a Junior Fellow. Her debut album, “Nouveau lyrisme”, was released by Leaf Music in June 2025.
Named one of the “30 hottest Canadian classical musicians under 30” by the CBC, pianist Chloé Dumoulin is establishing herself as one of the most promising artists of her generation. Renowned for her sensitive, masterful and deeply expressive playing, she stands out for her “impressive mastery of the instrument” (Le Soleil) and her “praiseworthy sense of suspense” in her musical narration. Her playing is acclaimed for its nuanced timbre and expressive power.
The programme will allow the audience to discover the world of two of the most influential composers in history, in a free form that allows for a wide range of colors and atmospheres. Chloé Dumoulin introduces us to Schubert’s Moments musicaux (D. 780, Op. 94), where the composer’s interiority and spirituality contrast with accents of fury, and those, sometimes tempestuous, sometimes intimate and delicate, of Rachmaninoff’s Opus 16.
