The Bicentenary of Photography 2026–2027

In 2026, photography will celebrate its 200th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the Ministry of Culture is launching a major celebration that will showcase historical and contemporary works, national and regional public collections, and photographic publications, from 1 September 2026 to 30 September 2027, in mainland France, the overseas territories and in more than thirty countries around the world.
