Haida Gwaii, 1800’s. At a seasonal fishing camp, two families endure a conflict between the nobleman Adiits’ii and his best friend. After Adiits’ii causes the accidental death of his friend’s son, he flees into the rainforest and transforming into Gaagiixid – “the Wildman.”
The film generated a real momentum to preserve this traditional language.
