October 17th, 2017
20:00 - 21:30
The early music ensemble La Chamaille is devoted to the vast repertoire of music from the Renaissance and the Baroque period. The group proposes a musical and literary dialogue between Baroque France and New France in Canada.
To the sounds of the musical works of the great French composers, such as Lully, Couperin and Rameau, and through the writing of the great thinkers of the period, such as Voltaire and Rousseau, Quelques arpents de neige retraces the history of the new colony.
