Attention – This projection will be taking place at the Goethe-Institut, 17 avenue d’Iéna, Paris 16.

Steve Guibord is the independent federal MP for Prescott-Makadew, in Rapides-aux-Outardes. A national debate erupts that finds him holding the tie-breaking vote about whether Canada will go to war in the Middle East. With no experience and no team, except his intern Souverain, a Haitian political science student, they embark on a tour of the county to consult voters and get their opinions.

A satirical and joyous political comedy by the Quebec film-maker Philippe Falardeau, whose hit films include Monsieur LazharCongorama and La moitié gauche du frigo, with an excellent cast.

With Patrick Huard, Suzanne Clément, Pascal Irdens Exantus and Clémence Dufresne-Deslières.
