Masterclass with Danièle Desnoyers

While Danièle Desnoyers regularly turns to improvisation, her creative process is nevertheless extremely rigorous. In a way, it is similar to the process of composing music. 

Music, sound as a material/partner, as a place of encounter. Being sensitive to the material, to what it represents as a challenge, as an obstacle, as an opening onto a personal appropriation. 

The first hours of the master class are devoted to the learning of long sequences or phrasings. It will then be a question of exploring this material, both alone and in relationship with the other.
