« Belles-Sœurs »
March 08th, 2012 - April 07th, 2012
Forty years after the premiere of the play Les Belles-Soeurs by Michel Tremblay, a milestone in the history of Quebec theatre, the director and lyricist René Richard Cyr transformed it into a musical with music by composer and singer Daniel Bélanger. After a huge success in Quebec, the company of fifteen actors will be performing at the Théâtre du Rond-Point à Paris from March 8 to April 7, 2012.
The rules of the game: 1965, Germaine wins a million trading stamps to be exchanged for anything in a prize catalogue. 100 points for a plate, 1,000 for a cushion, etc. The goal: to stick everything into a book in order to be able to get it all for free, then refurnish and redecorate with beautiful china and glasses.
