31st edition of International Film Festival – Marseille
FIDMarseille
July 22nd, 2020 - July 26th, 2020
The 31st edition of the International Film Festival in Marseille will be held from 22 to 26 July 2020. The Canadian Cultural Centre is a partner of the festival, which presents two films and an ongoing project by Toronto-based Canadian director Sofia Bohdanowicz.
Her film “Point and Line to Plane” (2019) is presented in the CNAP and FLASH competitions as a world premiere. Sofia Bohdanowicz is thus part of two competitions with a large female representation: she is one of 13 women in competition for FLASH and 11 women in competition for CNAP.
A second feature film “MS Slavic 7”, co-directed this year with actress Deragh Campbell, will also be presented as a world premiere.
Sofia Bohdanowicz will also present her writing project “A Portrait” on the international co-production platform FIDLab, which will be held online from 6 to 10 July 2020.
