The exhibition À Montréal, quand l’image rôde, proposed by the Galerie de l’UQAM in Le Fresnoy, presents the work of a generation of Montreal artists fascinated by the enigmas of the image and whose research is traversed by the exploration of the notions of breath, reflection and echo.
Their work exposes us to the idea of the missing image, not the one we need to find or retrieve, but the one that makes us look for it.
