An artist of Canadian origin, Catherine Marcogliese presents an exhibition of photographs titled Au bout du regard. Using digital photography, the artist works directly on the images to drive photography farther than a purely narrative representation. She manipulates the image to obtain a more abstract and personal reality by underlining the visual elements, such as shape and colour, and the flatness of the support and the space.
The landscape and the environment, natural or built, are the main themes the artist explores in her work.
