EN VIE, aux frontières du design
April 26th, 2013 - September 01st, 2013
Espace Fondation EDF — Paris
In an immersive setting, the exhibition En vie, aux frontières du design presents the work of the designers, architects and researchers who explore new relationships with nature in architecture; industrial, interactive or culinary design; furniture; jewellery; textiles; fashion and photography.
As soon as he or she enters the exhibition, the visitor is immersed in the interactive world of Canadian artist and architect Philip Beesley. Such as a forest endowed with artificial intelligence, like that of living systems, the installation Radiant Soil is made up of tactile sensors that trigger breathing, caresses and swallowing in the presence of visitors.
