Eric Chenaux’s solo work is a brilliant discography of deconstructed and adventurous, sumptuous and languid ballads, with jazz and pop influences, the result of the combination of his hallucinatory guitar playing and his superbly clear and lyrical voice.
If Eric Chenaux appears on the fringes of certain folk, pop and jazz currents as an anomaly, his music is nonetheless wonderfully warm, generous and fundamentally accessible, despite its irrefutable iconoclasm.
