Since it was founded thirty-six years ago, Cinéma du Réel has established itself as the documentary film festival in France. Welcoming a diversity of styles, forms, and ideas, it attracts a large, loyal, attentive and curious audience. For this new edition, two Canadian films have been programmed: Que ta joie demeure, directed by Denis Côté, in the international full-length film competition and Choreography, directed by David Redmon and Ashley Sabin, in the international short-film competition.
