G.R. Gritt is a Metis, two-spirit, transgender, Francophone and Anishinaabe artist, winner of a Juno Prize. After living in Yellowknife for many years, he returned to his native land.

This return to the country coincides with a journey towards a body which, in his opinion, is more representative of who he is.

With these changes, a new voice emerges both physically and in the growing magnetism of his compositions. G.R. Gritt draws effortlessly from the past to create soulful futurism with his new sound that elegantly weaves melodies using voice, guitar and new electronic elements.
