Reflecting his works in the group exhibitions of the Biennale d’Art Contemporain – Ateliers de Rennes, Canadian artist Gareth Moore presents a solo exhibition at La Criée that brings together sculptures characteristic of his interest in the magical and the mythical.
With Household Temple Yard, Gareth Moore proposes a sculptural reading of ritual and sacred practices, and of the processes at work in the production of meaning. He also examines the spiritual and market value, real or projected, inherent in art.
