Steve Guibord is the independent federal MP for Prescott-Makadew, in Rapides-aux-Outardes. A national debate erupts that finds him holding the tie-breaking vote about whether Canada will go to war in the Middle East. With no experience and no team, except his intern Souverain, a Haitian political science student, they embark on a tour of the county to consult voters and get their opinions.
A satirical and joyous political comedy by the Quebec film-maker Philippe Falardeau, whose hit films include Monsieur Lazhar, Congorama and La moitié gauche du frigo, with an excellent cast.
With Patrick Huard, Suzanne Clément, Pascal Irdens Exantus and Clémence Dufresne-Deslières.
