“The origin of my research has always been nature and stone – at the source of memory – witnesses of humanity. I use archetypal images, symbols and lines from the environment. As in an archaeological dig, the superposed strata are made up of fragmented artifacts: prints, papers and threads. Several techniques blend together to make a space in which the line circulates, creating the link. Between figuration and abstraction, the image is there to be discovered and invites you on a journey.” – Hélène Déry
