From November 12 to 20, 2019, the Canadian cultural centre offers a week devoted to the multifaceted, dynamic French-speaking Acadian culture of Canada.
The “Acadian new wave” showcases young Acadian filmmakers who are renewing and redefining the codes of Acadian identity. Through a selection of 9 shorts, Acadia shows itself as funny, rowdy, queer, thoughtful, and proudly part of the global French-speaking cinema.
