Singer-songwriter, pianist and CBC Music radio host, Laila Biali has headlined festivals and shows on five continents, from New York’s Carnegie Hall to Beijing’s National Centre for the Performing Arts, and opened for international icon Sting.
In 2019, her self-titled album won a JUNO Award in the “Vocal Jazz Album of the Year” category. Her album “Out of Dust”, released in 2020, received rave reviews and was also nominated for the 2021 JUNO Awards. Laila Biali was honoured by SOCAN Music with the Hagood Hardy Award for excellence in composition.
This year, she returns to the stage with a brand new album entitled “Your Requests”, which marks a real return to the classic jazz repertoire. Book your seats now!
