Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal invite renowned choreographers to work with them and participate in many initiatives in favour of the development of dance. They will be debuting in Paris Death and the Maiden by the chorographer Stephan Thoss. Founded by Ludmilla Chiriaeff in 1957, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal have endeavoured to make a name for themselves in the world of dance. Under the leadership of Gradimir Pankov, artistic director since 1999, the company’s repertoire has continued to enrich itself: Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin and Jirí Kylián, and more recently Didy Veldman, Stijn Celis and Christian Spuck.
