Lignes de faille
December 01st, 2011 - December 11th, 2011
Adapted from the novel by Nancy Huston, Lignes de faille takes us back in time, from 2004 to 1944, from post-9/11 New York to Second World War Germany, through the voice of four generations of a family. We meet them in turn when they are six years old.
Catherine Marnas explores borders: those between theatre and narrative, between representation and perception, between each being and what links him or her to the collective unconsciousness. She invites the audience to enter into the innermost depths of each character the better to make the echoes of history reverberate there.
