Marco Ema
Mois de la Francophonie
Centre culturel canadien
March 20th, 2024
20:00 - 21:30
On Wednesday, March 20th, the Canadian Cultural Centre invites you to Quebec artist Marco Ema‘s new show, featuring his second album Anyway, Mommy Love, released in autumn 2023. This cinematic concert will take the audience on a journey through the joys and sorrows of his new songs.
In 2021, Marco Ema’s first album, “Où nos corps s’en vont mourir”, was brilliantly acclaimed by the critics, leading to his nomination as iHeartRadio’s Future Star of April 2022 on Énergie radio with his single “Amy”. In 2022, his career takes off with a major summer tour featuring memorable concerts at the Francofolies de Montréal and the Francofolies de Spa in Belgium.
In spring 2023, the singer released the first singles “Buzz”, “Cinema Paradiso” and “Cool et branchée” from his new album Anyway, Mommy Love. With catchy lyrics and a wild rhythm, Marco Ema explores more rock chords than in his previous songs. On stage at the Canadian Cultural Centre, join us for a moving performance in which he will share a part of his personal and artistic journey.
