As part of the 2023 edition of Paris Photo (from November 9 to 12 at the Grand Palais Éphémère), join us to visit the exhibition “Deployment” at the Canadian Cultural Centre, on Saturday, November 11!
- Free access from 2pm to 8pm
- Guided tours at 2.30 pm, 4pm and 6pm with Catherine Bédard, Curator at the Canadian Cultural Centre – Booking required.
Bringing together a body of photographs and videos taken by Quebec artist Emmanuelle Léonard during a residency with the Canadian Armed Forces in the Far North, “Deployment” dives us into the social, environmental and geopolitical issues of the High Arctic, on the edge of Canada.
Under a sky of many shades of blue, Emmanuelle Léonard experienced the northern mirage with vast expanses, undefinable distances and raking lights.
