Patrick Cady et France Jodoin
January 17th, 2012 - February 11th, 2012
Vernissage, January 17, 6 p.m.
The exhibition organized at the Galerie Théo de Seine provides the opportunity to open a dialogue on the theme of the sea between the works of Patrick Cady and the infinite spaces represented by France Jodoin.
Inspired by Inuit art, Patrick Cady sculpted stone and whalebone. Timeless forms with clean lines inhabited by the force and brutality of an instant emerge from the raw material.
As for the work of France Jodoin, it is located on the shifting border between the figurative and the abstract.
