(Français) “Rapailler” Festival des littératures québécoises
Librairie Monte en l’air
June 08th, 2022 - June 16th, 2022
This first edition of the “Rapailler” festival, imagined and organized by the Monte en l’air bookshop in Paris 20th, presents a series of conversations and lectures bringing together Quebec authors for a week celebrating the diversity of Quebec literature.
Quebec’s literature carries so many landscapes, cities and forests! It is nourished by the unique history of a people and its diversity. It is written in a language that is constantly renewed, that dynamizes its vocabulary and reinvents its forms. It resonates with a popular, profound and embodied language – something that goes far beyond the sounds of an accent, or else demonstrates all its nobility: the expression of a little music that belongs only to it. Supported by a network of dynamic and willing publishing companies and bookshops, Quebec literature is in full bloom in France.
With the participation of Vanessa Bell, Geneviève Blais, Alain Farah, Gabrielle Filteau-Chiba, Lorrie Jean-Louis, Virginia Pésémapéo Bordeleau, Camille Readman Prud’Homme, Antoine Tanguay, Aimée Verret, Marie-Hélène Voyer, Audrée Wilhelmy
