SOLO 30X30 Paul-André Fortier
September 21st, 2012 - October 20th, 2012
Théâtre National de Chaillot, Esplanade du Trocadéro, Paris
The Théâtre National de Chaillot presents SOLO 30×30, an outdoor performance by the Quebec choreographer and dancer Paul-André Fortier.
SOLO 30×30, developed in 2006, is a thirty-minute choreographic performance danced on thirty consecutive days. Solo 30×30 is part of the city, a vivid memory, that of its choreographer faced with the reality of our world. Seeing Paul-André Fortier being swallowed up by the surrounding vastness, resisting the crowd and having a dialogue with the urban space is a moment of poetry. His dance is calligraphy in motion.
