Following their encounter in 2000, Canadian artist Jacob Wren and Belgian artist Pieter de Buysser start a correspondance with people from many different fields of activity and different parts of the world. Based on their answers the two artists propose between pessimism and optimism a third way : a critical optimism for the 21th century. 

What does optimism mean today ? That is the question of the performance.
