To mark World Refugee Day on June 20 and to celebrate the Pride Month, the Canadian Cultural Centre invites you to a screening of the film Last Chance.
In this heartbreaking documentary, Nova Scotia filmmaker Paul-Émile d’Entremont follows five refugee claimants in Canada who fled their home country to escape homophobic violence.
Facing the difficulties of integration and fearing deportation, they anxiously await the decision that will change their lives, but all want to believe in the generosity of their safe haven.
