With N à Y from END to WHY at the Galerie Le Réverbère, Serge Clément offers a different image of New York: “a foray into the heart of a city, in its fragmentation to the point of abstraction, to the limits of the surface, of the grain, of the photograph.”
The Espace Malraux presents another exhibition of the works of Serge Clément, Courants ~ Contre-courants.
“In this project and during the installation, I let the photographs speak for themselves, giving free rein to their capacity to evoke, question and describe, without the usual points of reference (title, city, country, year). Thus the viewer, like a free electron, circulates among all the cultural, cognitive and sensory ramifications that he is presented with or that he imagines.”
