Huu Bac Quintet
Centre culturel canadien
November 13th, 2025
20:00 - 21:30
As part of the Jazzy Colors festival, an annual event organized by the Forum des instituts et centres culturels étrangers de Paris, the Canadian Cultural Centre invites you to a concert by the Huu Bac Quintet.
A singer-songwriter of Chinese-Vietnamese origin, Huu Bac Quach founded his quintet in Montreal, where he offers a delightful blend of Vietnamese, Chinese and Peruvian musical sounds with jazz.
Surrounded by seasoned musicians, Huu Bac performs his compositions inspired by his many travels in Asia, Europe and South America. In concert, he captivates a wide audience with the beauty and intensity of his musical pieces and his playing of the dan bau (Vietnamese monochord), erhu (Chinese fiddle), quena (Andean flute) and guitar. The Huu Bac Quintet bears witness to a genuine dialogue between Asian, South American and North American cultures in a contemporary and original way.
Reservations open in mid-October.
