The Canadian Cultural Center invites you to an immersion in the heart of Acadian poetry.
Let yourself be carried away by lively readings, where the diverse and bold voices of Acadian poetry will resonate in an unusual setting of the Canadian Cultural Centre that is usually closed to the public.
Déchirures vers l’avenir, published by the Acadian publisher Perce-Neige is an anthology bringing together beloved poems, selected, torn apart and then piece back together, A vibrant collection.
A somewhat unconventional anthology that brings together the various pieces of a multifaceted portrayal of contemporary Acadia – the ideas and passions that have driven it to this day, as well as its doubts, contradictions, dissonances and dissenting voices.
Perce-Neige is an Acadian publishing house that publishes books in French showcasing the richness, vitality and singularity of Atlantic literature. Since 1980, it has been dedicated to developing and promoting this literature throughout the French speaking world
With the participation of poets Éloïse LeBlanc, Christian Roy, Jonathan Roy and Émilie Turmel co-director of the Poetry collection at Perce-Neige.
This event is presented with the support of the Government of New Brunswick.
