Theatrical conference on a scientific experiment to measure the speed of global warming in the Arctic.

In September 2008, NASA releases 90 small plastic yellow ducks into a Greenland glacier to measure the speed of global warming. Expected a few weeks later in Disco Bay, the ducks never reappear. Where did the ducks go? Are they still trapped in the glacier? Have they drifted towards the Canadian Arctic or further south?

What if a duck was found thousands of miles further south? Off the coast of Newfoundland? Along the Quebec coast? In front of the Statue of Liberty? In the Gulf of Mexico? Or further north? Prisoners of the ice pack? Off the coast of Thule? On the Russian coast of the icy Arctic Ocean? Don’t ducks hold the key to the world’s upheavals? ”

Between rigorously scientific investigation and theatrical play, Frédéric Ferrer places the spectator in this in-between space where one no longer knows whether to listen seriously or laugh out loud… Scientific and humorous lecture.

We hosted one of the very first performances of this conference-show in January 2011, Frédéric Ferrer, is now pleased to return to offer us his 100th performance!
