La Scaphandrière de Daniel Danis
October 11th, 2012 - October 20th, 2012
Théâtre National de Chaillot, Paris
A lively parable about greed and addiction, La Scaphandrière is the fruit of the encounter of the worlds of Olivier Letellier, a director who uses subtle images; Daniel Danis, a wonderful storyteller; and Ludovic Fouquet, an image and video specialist.
Pierre and his family live in poverty on the shores of Wreck Lake. To forget their troubles, Pierre builds cabins in the woods. He escapes there in his dreams. Embodied by a single actor backed up by interactive images, the journey through Pierre’s dreams is a lesson in hope.
