Au-delà des étoiles. Le paysage mystique de Monet à Kandinsky

Prepared in collaboration with the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, the exhibition explores the mystical part of the symbolist landscape. Featured works include landscapes by Gauguin, Denis, Monet, Hodler, Klimt, Munch and Van Gogh, as well as one by Canadian artists from the Group of Seven, such as Lawren Harris, Tom Thomson and Emily Carr. Secular, Catholic and Protestant mystical traditions thus enter into a, as does the relationship to nature before and after the cataclysm of the First World War.
