Canadian cello prodigy is back in France! On Thursday, April 4 at 8pm, the Canadian Cultural Centre invites you to an exceptional concert by cellist Cameron Crozman. Our online booking will be opening soon – stay tuned!
Cameron Crozman will present his latest album “Ricercari”, a reference to the 7 Ricercari by Domenico Gabrielli, the first composer to create pieces for solo cello in 1689. Crozman has commissioned new pieces from international composers Alexina Louie, Jordan Pal, Benoit Sitzia, Daniel Alvarado Bonilla, Nina C. Young and Kelly-Marie Murphy, inspired by Gabrielli’s work, which he will perform on stage.
For the second part of the evening, he will be joined by Canadian pianist Meagan Milatz to perform a short set of music for cello and piano.
Native of Calgary, Cameron Crozman is one of the best Canadian cellists of the moment. Since the beginning of his career, he has won numerous awards, and has performed in the most prestigious concert halls in North America and Europe (Berlin Philharmonic, Philharmonie de Paris, Mann Centre of Philadelphia, Maison Symphonique de Montréal).
