For our latest episode, take your seat on a special flight. Today, we’ll share not one story, but three.

The first is tragic. It is the story of Abraham Ulrikab and his seven Inuit companions, and their lives in a “Human Zoo” in 19th century colonialist Europe..

The second story is heroic. It is set in the First World War battlefields, in the North of France, where Corporal John Shiwak perished in combat, in 1917.

Our third tale, links these two stories, drawing together the Inuit people, Canada and France. This is our guest France Rivet’s story. Discover how she decided one day to listen her inner voice and in doing so sealed her fate with Nunatsaviut Inuit communities.
