In the presence of Sonia Boileau, Mohawk filmmaker
The Festival Ciné Alter’Natif presents a selection of about thirty films representing the wealth of First Nations production in Canada. The opening night of the seventh edition of the festival will take place at the Canadian Cultural Centre with the screening of Sonia Boileau’s film Le Dep. Le Dep tells the story of a young woman, Lydia, who works in the convenience store of a First Nations community in the Outaouais and is surprised by the intrusion of an armed and masked individual.
