Emerging artists from Canada and Ukraine come together for an international cross-collaboration project. See them in concert at the end of their creative residency. Discover the four original electroacoustic and instrumental works they have created on Saturday 1 July at the Médiathèque Marguerite Duras.
The project was commissioned by Jeffrey Stonehouse, artistic director of Le Vivier, a major presenter of new music on the Quebec cultural scene, and Alla Zagaykevych, composer and associate professor in the composition department of the Ukrainian National Academy of Music.
The concert is presented by Le Vivier and the Ukrainian Electroacoustic Music Association (UAEM), in collaboration with the Médiathèque Marguerite Duras as part of IRCAM’s festival ManiFeste.

Composers: Mariia Arestovych (Kyiv), Oleksiia Suk (Kyiv), Philippe Macnab-Séguin (Montréal), Lily Koslow (Montréal) and Jules Bastin-Fontaine (Montréal)
Performers : Guy Lavoie, alto and soprano saxophones (Montreal) and Illia Bondarenko, violin (Kyiv).
The artistic residency will take place in Paris at the Cultural Centre of the Ukrainian Embassy in France from 20 to 29 June 2023.
