De la part des vaincus is a multidisciplinary exhibition showcasing the work of ten established and emerging Canadian artists: Stéphanie Chabot, Vincent Chevalier, Raphaëlle De Groot, Cynthia Girard, Michelle Lacombe, Manuela Lalic, Noémi McComber, Dayna McLeod, Karen Trask and Frédérique Ulman-Gagné.
The curators chose to exhibit in France a segment of the Quebec art scene rarely seen abroad, conveying through the works a certain reflection of the context of artistic production in Quebec and of the feminist political and artistic heritage that fundamentally influenced the approach of the artists taking part in the project, their lives and their practices.
