Located both in Montreal and Quebec City, Chiguer Art Contemporain is dedicated to the artistic avant-garde, showcasing a wide range of contemporary practices, from painting and drawing to sculpture, textiles, and installation. The gallery represents around twenty established Canadian artists, several of whom have gained international recognition.
From March 25 to 29, 2026, Chiguer Art Contemporain is participating in Drawing Now in Paris, Europe’s leading contemporary art fair exclusively dedicated to drawing. The gallery presents at Booth C18 the Canadian artists Shuvinai Ashoona, Véronique La Perrière M., François Morelli, Sfiya, Pitseolak Qimirpik. Chiguer Art Contemporain will also present a solo booth of Eveline Boulva in the Digital sector.
François Morelli has been selected as Artist in focus. A key figure in contemporary art in Quebec, Francois Morelli has developed an experimental and embodied approach based on the body and the figure, exploring its physical and psychological limits.
Three performances by Francois Morelli will be presented during the fair : March 26, 7.30 pm / March 27, 7 pm / March 28, 7 pm
