Singer/pianist Elizabeth Shepherd started her international career in 2006 with her first album Start to Move, selected by BBC Radio Worldwide as one of the best jazz records of the year. Her five records to follow were widely acclaimed by critics. She went on several tours around North America, Europe and Japan, played in legendary bars from Tokyo to Detroit, and performed in many renowned festivals.
This year, Elizabeth Shepherd has released her sixth album, named after her adopted city, MONTREAL. Inspired by a series of interviews carried out with locals in the metropolis, the record builds into a love letter to Montreal along groovy and soulful melodies.
