Fable2016 sets to music four fables for children, recently discovered in the archives, written by the great Bulgarian theatrical director and writer, her grandfather Nikolai Fol.

Alexandra Fol was a finalist for the Gaudeamus International Composers Award 2006, winner of the Leonard Bernstein composition prize 2007 at the Tanglewood Music Centre and a winner of the Molinari International Composition Competition for String Quartet prize in 2015–16.
