Babel Music XP Festival

Babel Music XP returns to Marseille from 23 to 25 March! With its trade show at the Friche la Belle de Mai and its international festival open to the general public at the Dock des Suds, the Babel Music XP is positioned as the Mediterranean epicentre of contemporary world music.

The international event aims to contribute to the revival of a music industry facing new challenges, to bring together and create moments of sharing between the various players in the sector and to stimulate the economy of an ecosystem in the throes of change.

For this edition in 2023, the festival has invited the Canadian group Nomadic Massive in its official selection.

Founded in 2004, this multicultural hip-hop collective has been has been lighting up minds, hearts and stages around the world. Born in the multicultural neighborhood of Cote-des-Neiges in Montreal, Canada, the crew has since rocked crowds across the planet, dropping their border-breaking flows and messages in various languages.

2023 will mark a year of renewal for Nomadic Massive, who has just completed a new EP, freshly recorded while on tour in South America. The album, to be released in the spring of 2023, is an explosive cocktail of Afro-Latin-funk and R&B influences and increasingly committed lyrics.

The Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris is a partner in this event
