Festival Ciné Alter’Natif

October 6 and 10 in Paris
This is the first European cinema festival presenting movies (fictions and documentaries) only directed by aboriginals. The association « De la plume à l’écran » created in 2008 fights against stereotypes about aboriginals and allows them to speak about their own culture.
The festival will also celebrate a partnership of three years with the Quebecois association « Wapikoni Mobile ». Association carrying the objective to form the aboriginal young people about cinema technics. 2000 young people were already trained during the last five years.
