Founded in 1979, the Festival International de Films de Femmes de Créteil welcomes women directors from around the world, showing nearly 150 films that demonstrate women’s talent for examining the society in which they live. In the feature film competition, the film “Margarita” by Canadian directors Laurie Colbert and Dominique Cardona is the portrait of a family through the story of a Mexican nanny, who is living illegally in Canada, unknown to her employers and her female lover.
