From April 26 to 30, the 23rd edition of the Printival Boby Lapointe will be held in Pézenas: a festival that brings together every year artists, poets, composers and songwriters around a common passion: the love of Francophone music! This year, the Printival will also celebrate the 100th birthday of artist, composer and performer Boby Lapointe.
To highlight the diversity of the Francophone music scene, the Printival puts the spotlight on Francophone artists from Canada in its lineup!
- April 28 at 12pm – Place Gambetta: Canadian artists Laura Niquay, Mat Vezio and Joey Robin Haché will play on stage with French artists Julia Pertuy, HYL and Daphné Swan. They will present together the outcome of their artistic collaboration as part of a cross-Canada-Occitania residency!
- April 29 at 12pm – Place Gambetta: Fransaskois artist Étienne Fletcher will give us an intimate concert on stage, between rock, folk and blues.
- April 30 at 3pm – Théâtre de Pézenas: Innu poet and author Natasha Kanapé Fontaine and Canadian folk singer-songwriter Marie Claudel will be on the lineup of the Vitrines artistiques du Théâtre de Pézenas.
About the festival:
In only twelve years of career, Boby Lapointe marked the history of the French song. The festival’s credo is to perpetuate his spirit through a line up of authors, composers and performers of creative songs.
